Retirement Story

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.

Well, for example, the other day my wife and I went into town and went into a shop. We were only in there for about 5 minutes. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.

We went up to him and I said, 'Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?' He ignored us and continued writing the ticket.

I called him a "Dumb Ass". He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires.

So Mary called him a "Shit Head". He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Just then our bus arrived and we got on it and went home. We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired. It's important at our age.

Have fun as we age gracefully after retirement. Hahaha.....

First plan for your retirement. Then enjoy your retirement plan. When do u plan for ur retirement? At the age of 50? No, young men, every where, from day one u started work! U must start saving for ur retirement the day u first get ur pay. No matter how little u save, it's a good habit. I remember during my primary school days, we had a Thrift Society where we could save money every month. The motto of the society was " Little Drops of Water Make a Mighty Ocean." The govt. started the EPF or KWSP to force people to save for their retirement bc many people do not save for their old age. Many young people nowadays just like to spend until their last sen. They buy a lot of useless things which later become rubbish. So we must always educate the young to spend wisely and always put something aside for the rainy days. When financially sound, we can enjoy our reirement. Take up a hobby or travel around.
